Fabrics
Choose one fabric for the main body and hood of the capelet. Hoods are lined with a coordinating material (designer’s choice). If you want to choose your own lining, or add a trim, please see below for instructions.
WARNING: Your monitor may not show colours or textures accurately! If the exact shade is important to you, you can order a fabric swatch for $5, which will be deducted when you order anything.

If you don’t see the fabrics you’re looking for here, please check out the vast selection in our Fabric Galleries. Prices can vary a lot depending on your fabric choices. Once you have chosen a fabric, or if you want to pick your own hood lining material and/or add a full body lining or some trim, please contact us directly so we can send you a quote.
For the main body and hood of the capelet, you can choose from the following Fabric Galleries:
- Lycra Velvets
- Velours
- Woollens
- Linens and Linen Blends
- Faux Suedes
- Suitings.
If you want to select your own hood lining, choose one from the following Fabric Galleries:
- Cottons
- Lightweight Satins
- Silkies
- Taffetas (plain weaves, textured, and pin-tucked types only)
If you want to add a trim on the front edges, around the hood edge, and/or the bottom edge, select one or more from the Trim Gallery. If you’d like the whole capelet to be lined, please contact us for a quote.

Sizing
One size fits almost everybody, but if you think you’re really extraordinarily built (tall, short, tiny, shoulders like Thor, etc) to the point where you need customizing, contact us and we can make one to measure.
